Advisory Boil Notice
Update 30th October 2013
On the advice of Craven District Council the Boil Notice should remain in place until two clear water samples have been taken.
The sample taken on Monday 28th October was clear and a further sample will be taken on Thursday 31st October. The results of the second sample should be known by late on Friday 1st November. As soon as we receive any information from Craven District Council you will be notified, as previously by SMS/Email and notices will be placed in the Post Office and on the village notice board.
25th October 2013
Due to an equipment failure, and the expected severe weather for the next few days. The trust is ADVISING YOU TO BOIL YOUR TAP WATER before using it for the next 7 days.
Only when the tap water has been BOILED AND ALLOWED TO COOL, should it be used for:
Drinking Preparing food Cleaning teeth
This advice also applies to pets.
Tap water CAN still be used for:
Washing Bathing Toilet flushing
